They have an extremely fast breeding cycle. Each female German cockroach can produce 30 – 48 eggs at a time and about 20,000 offspring a year.

German cockroaches eat almost all types of foodstuffs but prefer starchy food such as potato, rice, and cereal the most. They can live anywhere but are found mostly in the kitchen, where they hunt for food and water.
