BEES

Bees are known to be less ferocious than hornets or wasps, but they remain a potential source of harm. Beehives in the yard can be troublesome, especially for houses with small children. For those allergic to bee stings, living close to bees can be dangerous or life-threatening.

  • Size: The size of a bee may vary from small (2cm) to large (4cm).
  • Color: Some bees are black, brown or gray, but some others may be bright yellow.
  • Appearance: Flat body and six legs

Beehive

Bees and hornets have different nesting behaviors. While hornets and yellowjackets make their hives using paper, honeybees and wasps use wax. Hornets can create nesting places on the ground, inside decayed wood logs or natural holes. Some wasps even make hives with mud.

What do you need to do?

Because carpenter bees love wood, we use specialized methods such as powder pesticide that can be wetted and spray pesticide aiming at beehives inside holes to eliminate bees. We recommend you seal holes on wood after the bees are eliminated.
